President's Outstanding Alumni Awards

Deborah McCasland

At the "Evening of Recognition" ceremonies the college presented the President's Outstanding Alumni Awards. Deborah McCasland was nominated by Ken Lain and received the award at the Prescott ceremony on April 21st. Her career at YC began in August of 1976 and she recently retired on April 8, 2011. Her community service includes involvement on the boards of many organizations - Friends of the Prescott Public Library; Prescott Meals on Wheels; Prescott Adult Center; Republican Women of Prescott, Association of American University Women, and the Prescott Area Art Trust.

Robin Whatley

On April 22nd in Clarkdale, Robin Whatley, a council member from the Town of Camp Verde was presented with the award. Linda Buchanan nominated Robin for her outstanding contributions in her chosen profession and her commitment to community service.
