General Eligibility Requirements

Each applicant with a disability must:

  • meet Yavapai College admissions requirements
  • be enrolled as an Yavapai College student
  • register with Disability Resources in a timely manner
  • provide Disability Resources (DR) with required documentation verifying the nature and extent of the disability prior to receiving any accommodation

Disability Defined

Disability means, with respect to an individual, a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual; a record of such an impairment; or being regarded as having such an impairment.
