Yavapai College as a publicly supported institution of higher learning values responsible resource management. To this end the College regularly conducts economic impact studies to assess the value and benefit that owners receive for their investment in Yavapai College.
For this study, Yavapai College partnered with Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc. to apply a comprehensive model designed to quantify the economic benefits of the college.
The study covers two major analyses: Investment Analysis that treats education funding as an investment, calculating measurable returns and comparing them to costs, from the perspectives of students, taxpayers, and society as a whole; second, Economic Growth Analysis that measures added income in the region due to college operations and student spending.
