Copyright law of the U.S. (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private, study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that use may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
Books and photocopies will be sent to the library where the request was originated. You will be notified to pick up your request at the library where you placed the request. Any fees will be collected at time of pick up.
Materials obtained through Interlibrary Loan follow the borrowing policies of the lending library.
Photocopies are yours to keep.
Call the Interlibrary Loan department before the item is due. We have to contact the lending library and request a renewal due date. Overdue fines are $0.30 per day.
Some items may have a loan fee. We will inform you about any associated fees before a request is sent to the owning library.
The Verde Valley Campus Library will be closed May 9th to Aug. 1st due to the campus closure for renovations.
