Yavapai College participates in several purchasing consortiums. These are groups that issue formal, legal requests for bids, or requests for proposals that result in contracts with vendors for a variety of goods and services. The purchasing consortiums award contracts to qualified vendors based on specific pricing and for specific time periods. In these cases, the College is eligible to purchase against these contracts without having to do our own separate bid or request for proposal. While certain restrictions or procedures may apply to individual contracts, generally these can be considered for the College’s use as needed.
