Tutorial Services

You may be eligible to receive individual tutoring through the SSS TRIO program from trained and certified tutors. SSS also offers group tutoring in math as well as a HESI study group.  The benefits of tutoring include grade improvement, learning new study skills, and time management.

    The Value of Tutoring:

College courses may be challenging for a variety of reasons. SSS provides tutorial services to help you gain an extra edge in your coursework.

Tutoring Requirements

Before receiving individualized tutoring, students must first meet with an SSS TRIO program advisor, and be accepted into the program. Then the student who is interested in tutoring may make an appointment to see Sara Holter, the tutorial specialist at the Prescott campus, or, on the Verde, speak with Linda Evans about setting up your tutoring.
