The Prescott Campus Art Gallery, the nearby Sculpture Garden, and the Art a la Carte presentation series.
Each year the FRIENDS sponsors a series of art talks on a wide range of stimulating topics. Artists, educators, docents, and local experts share their insights and experience through discussion and illustrated talks. These art coffees are provided to further support the FRIENDS’ mission to expand opportunities for art education in our community.
The talks are free to the public and take place on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.
Join us for light refreshments and these delightful presentations relating to the arts!

The Yavapai College Art Gallery occupies a special niche in the art instructional program. It allows YC art students to study the work of professional artists, and the possibility of showing their own work in a professional manner, helping them understand the workings of an art gallery.
As an open classroom, the gallery invites the community as a whole to explore the insights and experiences found in art. In these endeavors, the gallery promotes the appreciation of excellence, diversity, and vitality in the visual arts.
FRIENDS was originally established to help art faculty set up and maintain an art gallery as part of the instructional program. To establish a dedicated space, we helped transform an old motorcycle showroom, painting and landscaping and serving as gallery sitters.
Although its focus has broadened, Friends still provides essential support for the Gallery, sponsoring several new exhibition receptions each year, underwriting the printing of announcement cards for exhibitions, and helping to fund special projects.

The Sculpture Garden is adjacent to the YC Performance Hall. With meandering walks, the four-acre park enhances a variety of beautiful trees and shrubs. It provides a graceful setting for study, quiet contemplation and, as an extension of the Performance Hall, is a delightful area for outdoor events.
The Garden was conceived as an on-campus teaching collection comprised of innovative, design-based, contemporary sculpture. The pieces in the Garden are in striking contrast to Prescott’s historical past. Artists are sought to display work which makes a statement about the present and creates the future. FRIENDS’ projects support the acquisition of sculpture, raising funds by activities, donations, and the sale of trees, benches and bricks adorning the Garden.
