Scholarships offer Students the Ability to Succeed
It is impossible to quantify all the positive impacts Yavapai College Foundation (YCF) scholarships have made on the lives of the more than 1,000 student recipients since the program’s inception in the late 1970s. What is clear, however, is that these scholarships have helped students achieve career goals that might not otherwise have been possible.
Too many men and women do not have the resources to make their academic dreams a reality. We must be able to help those students who have demonstrated their potential to succeed in college, but who simply do not have the means to attend. Scholarships make education attainable for those who need financial assistance, and they enable students to focus on schoolwork and learning, rather than on just trying to survive.
