University Partnerships

Yavapai College has established partnerships with several four-year institutions to offer YC students enhanced curriculum, programs and baccalaureate opportunities right here in Yavapai County.

These institutions offer a wide array of courses and programs online, via Interactive television or classes in the Prescott and Verde Valley areas. They also offer seamless transfer of most YC credits to bachelor’s degree programs and some also provide students with the opportunity to continue on to master’s degree and doctoral programs.

 Yavapai College - ASU Partnership

Whether you are just starting out at the community college or have completed your associate degree, ASU will provide you with the tools and advice to help you transition to ASU when you are ready.

Transfer Admission Guarantee program (TAG)

Have you already decided on your ASU major? If so, the ASU Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) has been designed for you. Through this program, you follow a prescribed sequence of course work that meets the lower-division course requirements for an ASU major. When you complete your TAG, you will have met the requirements for your associate degree and be on track toward earning your bachelor’s degree. TAGs include the appropriate AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum) and an associate degree.

Yavapai College-ASU RN-BSN Pathway Program

The Yavapai College-ASU RN-BSN Pathway Program is designed for students who are currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in nursing at Yavapai College and who plan to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at ASU.

AAS-BAS: Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS)

This program allows students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science from institution to transfer 60 credit hours toward a Bachelor of Applied Science at ASU. Students transferring from a regionally accredited Arizona public community college can transfer up to 15 additional credit hours of general studies courses (75 credit hours total). Students pursuing the 75 credit option may have more than 45 credit hours to complete their BAS upon transfer to ASU. Students should work with their academic advisor to ensure their courses will meet degree requirements.

General Transfer

You can transfer to ASU at any time and complete a bachelor's degree in one of more than 250 academic programs.
