Spring 2016 Juried Student Exhibition

April 12 - May 9, 2016
Details: Each semester concludes with the Juried Student Art Exhibition. Work created by our students is on exhibition. This show celebrates and honors the achievements of instruction in the Yavapai College Art Department.
Our juror for the Spring 2016 Juried Student Exhibition is Alan Bur Johnson. He received a B.F.A. in Printmaking in 1990 from the University of Washington, Seattle. Johnson currently lives and works in the former ghost town of Jerome, Arizona. He exhibits his work nationally and is represented by Lisa Sette Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Details: Edie Dillon and James Henderson see the sacred in the common world around them and encourage the viewer to do the same. Prescott sculptor Edie Dillon and South Carolina photographer James Henderson complement each other in their interpretation of the ordinary.
