Transcript Requests


Unofficial transcripts are generally used by students for their own records.  View your unofficial transcripts here [login required], or when logged-in to the YC website, click on "My Services" -> "Students" -> "My Transcripts/Grades".

Official transcript requests are not accepted by telephone, fax, or e-mail. In compliance with federal law, transcripts are released only with the written consent of the student. No other person (including parent or spouse) may authorize a student's transcript to be released.


3 Ways to Order Official Transcripts

  1. By a secured internet transaction

The National Student Clearinghouse provides an online ordering service for Yavapai College students. Using the Clearinghouse you can order multiple transcripts to be sent to multiple locations in one session using a credit card for payment. You'll be guided through the easy step-by-step process and receive email updates on your order, which you can track online.

Steps for Current Students:

  • If you are already logged-in, click here to request official transcripts.  Otherwise, Login to the website using your username and password.
  • Under My Services, Students, select Request My Official Transcripts from the menu.
  • Click on the National Student Clearinghouse icon. You will automatically be directed to the Yavapai College Clearinghouse secure site.

Steps for Former Students & Alumni:

  • Access the Clearinghouse through
  • Select Yavapai College from the drop down menu
  • Click Order. You will be prompted to submit a consent form via fax
  2. By mail

Students must send a signed request and enclose a check or money order (no credit cards) in the amount of $10.00 per transcript. Submit the written request to:

Include the following information:

  • Your current name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Yavapai College Student ID Number
  • Name and address to whom the transcript is to be sent
  • Whether the transcript is to be sent after specified grades or a degree is posted
  • Signature of the student (we cannot process your order without this)
  3. In person at any YC location:

The student can order them in person at any campus, but they are only available for pick up at the Prescott Campus.

Transcript Fees

Official Transcripts: $10.00 by mail or in person, $7.25 through the Clearinghouse.

Unofficial Transcripts: Log onto the website using your username and password.

Military Transcripts

Your military training (after 1980) may provide transfer credit to college level courses. Requesting your military transcripts is easy and free. Simply select the link below, complete the information and the Joint Services Transcript will email your official transcripts to Yavapai College. Transcript Service Policy

Yavapai College strives to fulfill transcript requests within two working days, however up to one week may be required. Transcripts will not be issued if any obligations are due to Yavapai College.

In accordance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, all requests must bear the student's signature. No official transcripts will be faxed, since they must bear a secure seal of the Office of the Registrar.

Sending a Yavapai College Transcript to Another School

Students transferring to another institution may order a Yavapai College transcript by one of the three methods listed above.

Sending Transcripts from Other Schools to Yavapai College

Students who have completed work at other institutions and wish to apply credits toward their Yavapai College degree or certificate must have official transcripts sent directly to Yavapai College Enrollment Services, by the previous institution:

The Enrollment Services office evaluates transcripts in the order they are received. Students will be notified via their YC email address when transcripts have been received and when they've been evaluated.

Transfer students should contact Academic & Career Advising to meet with an advisor as early as possible.
