Anthropology is the study of humankind everywhere, both past and present. Anthropology seeks to produce knowledge about the things that make people unique and the things that we all have in common. The field uses a holistic approach in that an anthropologist attempts to put all the parts of a society in context in order to understand its culture.
Students who earn an advanced degree in Anthropology can pursue jobs with museums, government agencies, non-profit agencies, human resources departments and academia.
Anthropology classes are offered on the Prescott and Verde Valley campuses.
