Dance

Yavapai College offers courses in ballet, jazz dance, dance choreography, and ballroom dancing. Students in these courses learn basic dance movements, develop strength and kinesthetic awareness, and move and perform to music.  
 
Many of the students in the dance choreography class on the Prescott Campus successfully audition for participation in the YC Dance Team that performs at college athletic events.  
 
YC dance courses are offered at various locations throughout the college district including Chino Valley, Prescott, Prescott Valley and Verde Valley.
