Education

Within the next 10 years, it is estimated that 20,000 new teachers will be needed in grades K-12 in Arizona. Students can begin or enhance their teaching career, learning if the teaching profession is the right career for them.  
 
At Yavapai College, students can fulfill the requirements in education to enable them to transfer to one of the three Arizona public universities to complete a baccalaureate program and qualify for an Arizona teaching certificate.  
 
Yavapai College has a 2+2 partnership with Northern Arizona University, enabling students to complete their four-year degree in Elementary Education on the Prescott Campus.  
 
Education classes are offered on the Prescott and Verde Valley campuses.
