Physics

Physics and astronomy courses fulfill general education requirements, as well as major requirements for physics, engineering, pre-med, architecture, and fire science, among others.  
 
The Physics department offers students a well-equipped physics laboratory, as well as numerous small telescopes.  
 
Physics courses are offered on the Prescott Campus only; Astronomy classes are offered on the Prescott and Sedona campuses and occasionally on the Verde Valley Campus.
