Psychology

Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes, as well as the profession that applies that knowledge to practical problems. Students who study psychology can expect to explore the development of personality and the motivations that influence patterns of thinking, feeling and behavior. Students may continue to pursue further studies in psychology leading to careers in research or the human services. For general studies students, the understanding of human behavior and motivation will contribute to success in any career which involves contacts with others as well as in their own lives and relationships.  
 
Psychology classes are offered on both the Prescott and Verde Valley campuses.
