Students enrolling in fall classes at the Yavapai College Verde Valley campus in Clarkdale will be the initial beneficiaries of a $17.4 million campus renovation that is taking place this summer.
Buildings and classrooms are being renovated with the latest technology to enhance both on-site and distance educational opportunities. Renovations also include a better layout of campus and buildings for the streamlining of college functions.
“Yavapai College’s significant investment in the Verde Valley is evidence of the college’s plans to serve the communities of the Verde Valley by providing a campus that ensures a quality educational experience,” Verde Valley campus Dean James Perey said.
The Verde Valley campus offers on-site classes in 18 academic areas, ranging from accounting to viticulture. The fall semester begins Monday, August 20, and students can register for classes through August 26 online or in person at the Verde Valley campus.
The campus is located at 601 Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale. For more information, call (928) 634-7501 or go online to https://www.yc.edu/v4content/campuses-and-sites/verde/
