Yavapai College replaced 40-year-old tennis courts in 2014 with a smart new facility that will be a boon to local players, visitors and tournaments that attract guests to the region.
Yavapai College’s first fully staged opera, Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel,” was performed on the stage of the Performing Arts Center in 2014.
The T.S. Monk Jazz Trio performed to a full house at the Charles Mabery Pavilion on the Verde Valley Campus in August—one of several shows the campus hosted during the year.

The Del E. Webb Family Enrichment Center for early childhood instruction and The Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) open.

The fledgling Softball Team soars with its 1st NJCAA National Championship.

The NAU/Yavapai

Prescott Valley
begins its first classes
with 20 students. Dr. Penny Wills
begins as the 9th President of the College.

Groundbreaking ceremony on
the Verde Valley Campus for the Southwest Wine Center.
