Budget Overview
The $85 million budget is the financial means by which the college pursues the three goals set by the Yavapai College District Governing Board: 1) help students achieve their educational goals, 2) assist communities in generating and sustaining economic base jobs, and 3) provide access to a vibrant social and cultural life.
Yavapai College’s costs (expenses) per student are at or below the average for community colleges across the nation.
Yavapai College’s costs (expenses) per student are at or below the average for community colleges across the nation, while our price per credit hour is lower than the national average to reflect the lower median income of the population that Yavapai College serves. Per benchmark studies, employee compensation is competitive with relevant markets and our facilities are well-maintained.
