Truth in Taxation Hearing / Final Budget Approval
If a property tax levy increase is considered, a Truth-in-Taxation hearing is held per ARS 15-1461.01. A separate meeting follows to approve/disapprove the budget.

- Composite Financial Index exceeds the Higher Learning Commission target.
- Credit ratings: S&P AA-; Moody’s Aa2.
- Property tax rates near Arizona community college median; Arizona rates rank among the lowest nationally.
- Strong stewardship of facilities: Net Asset Value score 89% (minimal deferred maintenance).
- Per Arizona statute, current expenditures per student are at or below inflation-adjusted 1980 levels.
