Employer Job Posting Site

Organized according to Industry sector, YC’s Employment Service page connects student directly with local employment and Internship opportunities. Employers are welcome to to post paid jobs, and paid/unpaid internships. Employers can also connect directly with career coach for special recruitment needs.

Post your job link here, and a career advisor will contact you to let you know your openings has been posted to our site. Job Posting will be posted for 30 days.


YC Internship Program

Yavapai College offer three types of internships for our students:

  • For Credit Internship are called 296 Internships, and give students college credit while they complete your Internship needs.
  • Paid Internships are short term (8-16 week), learning experiences connected to a students’ major.
  • Unpaid Internship are short term (8-16 week), learning experiences connected to a student’s major and offered to the student to accept a unpaid/volunteer Internship learning experiences.

The benefits of the Internship programs are so valuable on both sides of the equation! Participating companies offer students practical work experience to go along with their YC  education and training. In exchange, YC interns can help build your company's hiring pipeline and secure the future of your business.

Employer Classroom Presentation

Making classroom presentations on behalf of your organization helps to increase your company's name recognition on campus. If you would like to present to class, please let us know and we will work to make the connection that benefits your company and our students. Generally, talks should be approximately 20 to 40 minutes in length, but the course instructor and speaker may agree to a shorter or longer presentation/discussion time.

Yavapai College is proud to host two premier Economic Development Offices:

  • America's Small Business Development Center is located on the Yavapai College Prescott Valley Campus and has services to help your business succeed through free, one-on-one mentoring in finance, management excellence, and marketing.  Yavapai College SBDC is a deep resource center for small business  owners & entrepreneurs.  If you would like more information visit the SBDC website.

  • Yavapai Colleges Regional Economic Development Center is located on the Yavapai College Prescott Valley Campus and is your One-Stop for Business and Economic Development needs. The YC  REDC center provides data analysis and services that facilitate economic development throughout Yavapai County and help build wealth in our local communities. 

    Yavapai Colleges REDC also is your contact point If you are interested in participating in the large local area Job Fairs. Job Fairs are a good way to meet and interview several applicants in one setting.
