abclogo.jpgYavapai College is set to begin teaching students how to 3D print a house this spring semester in its new class, “CBT250 - Introduction to 3-D Concrete Printing.”

The new class, which features an immersive hands-on training experience using disruptive technology in the construction industry. Students will use state-of-the-art 3D printing equipment and will learn:

  • New emerging technology in 3D concrete printing of houses to address the shortage of attainable workforce homes
  • Set up and operate a 3D House printing machine
  • New building codes associated with 3D concrete house printing
  • 3D blueprints
  • Learn basic 3D printer programming

The class is enrolling now at Yavapai College’s Chino Valley Campus with limited space available. Classes begin on January 18.
