Volleyball has been a sport at Yavapai College since 1972. In that timeframe, just nine players have been recognized as All-Americans. Today, we are proud to induct one of those nine in Haley (Shackelford) Neufeld. A dominant force as an outside hitter, Haley gained national recognition as an All-American in 2010. It wasn’t the only time she did that, as she also earned National Player of the Week honors during her 2009 campaign. In addition, she earned Conference Player of the Week honors three times and was a two-time All-Conference and All-Region volleyball player as a Roughrider while helping lead her team to a 51-27 overall record while at YC.
