Minor Course Modification Process

1. What is a Minor Course Modification?

Minor changes to an approved course are generally editorial changes in the course number, title, description, content and/or learning outcomes. While you may be revising or modifying one specific aspect of the course, the entire outline must be reviewed and revised to conform to the appropriate format, description, content, learning outcomes, and assessment. If the entire outline requires revision to bring it into compliance with curriculum standards, you will need to follow the Major Modification Process instead of this process. Any change processed as a Minor Modification may only be editorial and not substantive.

2. How Do I Prepare My Proposal?

  1. Download and save the Minor Course Modification Proposal
  2. Complete all fields in the proposal
  3. Email a copy of your proposal to your Division Curriculum Representative and to the Curriculum Coordinator, Patti Schlosberg
