Associate of Applied Science in Residential Building Technology

Mission:

Program emphasis is on sustainable/green building strategies that result in the construction of healthy, safe, durable, comfortable, affordable, resource efficient, environmentally responsive houses.

Residential Building Technology Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Residential Building Technology program the learner will be able to:

1. Build an environmentally responsive house.
2. Construct a certified Green Built house (using Scottsdale Arizona's green building guidelines).
3. Construct an energy and resource efficient house (using Energy and Environmental Building Association guidelines).
4. Build a registered Health House (using American Lung Association Health House builder's guidelines).
5. Build a certified Energy-Star house.
6. Build a certified Environments for Living house.
