Student Leadership Council

Application requirements:

The following are required to be prepared and submitted with the application below:

a) Letter of interest – please describe why you want to serve on the Student Leadership Council. This letter should be of professional quality, should be no longer than 1 page and include:

  • Why you would like to be selected for SLC
  • How you intent to contribute to the four goals of the SLC organization
  • How you would benefit from the program
  • Personal, academic and professional goals
  • Leadership experience

b) Upload copies of transcripts: If you are a returning YC student, a copy of your YC transcripts. If you are a new YC student, a copy of your high school transcripts

c) Two, signed letters of recommendation: The letters of recommendation should be from credible sources that can confirm your work ethic and leadership potential. One of the letters should be from a YC staff or faculty member, or if next semester will be your first semester at YC a teacher who knows you well. Letters cannot be from family members.
