All Yavapai College locations are under inclement weather delay
Friday, February 20, 2026 until 10:00 a.m.
During the inclement weather delay, the College is closed until 10 a.m., and the following protocols are in place:
- All buildings and facilities (including the pool, tennis courts, FEC, etc.) are locked until 10 a.m. Employees and students should not attempt to enter buildings or facilities until 10 a.m. and should refrain from coming onto college property until 10 a.m.
- All classes, activities, and events scheduled to begin before 10 a.m. are canceled. (EX: Classes scheduled to start at 9:15 a.m. are canceled).
- All classes, activities, and events scheduled to begin after 10 a.m. will occur at their normally scheduled time (EX: Classes scheduled at 10:15 a.m. will begin on time).
- All employees should report to work no earlier than 10 a.m.
Only essential personnel are permitted on campus, and buildings will be locked until 10 a.m. This is for everyone’s benefit and safety since the sidewalks, parking lots, and roads cannot be cleared properly if vehicles are in the way. Some facilities (EX: tennis courts, fields) may not be immediately available while crews clear other areas.
Only Yavapai College Facilities employees are permitted to plow, shovel, de-ice, or otherwise participate in snow or ice removal.
