Prescott, Arizona — Yavapai College hosted the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Federal Partners Forum Supporting Rural Communities on Tuesday, May 5, welcoming more than 100 local, state, and federal representatives to present information, discuss shared challenges, and identify potential solutions to issues facing rural communities.
The forum came together with the goal of sharing resources, strengthening partnerships, and exploring solutions related to economic development, housing, healthcare access, workforce development, and infrastructure in rural communities.
“This event reflects our vision of ensuring our community is a premier place to learn, work, and live,” said Dr. Lisa Rhine, President of Yavapai College. “We are grateful to the federal, state, and local leaders who participated and shared their expertise, and we are proud to support partnerships that advance opportunity and prosperity throughout our region.”
