Prescott, Arizona — This holiday season, Yavapai College Foundation will launch the inaugural Yavapai Yuletide, a two-day holiday celebration designed to capture the magic of Prescott’s longstanding reputation as Arizona’s “Christmas City” while supporting Yavapai College students and educational opportunities.
Taking place on November 20–21, 2026, Yavapai Yuletide will transform the Prescott campus into a festive holiday village filled with seasonal experiences, entertainment, local shopping, and community celebration.
Inspired by the charm and nostalgia of a classic holiday festival, guests can stroll through a curated marketplace along Candy Cane Lane, enjoy live music and carolers, sip hot cocoa, visit with Santa, explore interactive holiday experiences, and discover unique gifts from regional artisans and vendors.
“As a legacy institution deeply connected to this community, Yavapai College is proud to join in the spirit and tradition that has made Prescott Arizona’s Christmas City for generations,” said Nicole Kennedy, Chief Development Officer. “Yavapai Yuletide is more than a holiday celebration; it is an experience designed to bring people of all ages together year after year in celebration of the season while strengthening our community.”
As part of the inaugural celebration, Yavapai Yuletide will also feature the Yavapai Yuletide Pageant, a showcase for children ages 13 and younger, celebrating confidence, community spirit and holiday tradition. Participants from across the region will take part in a professionally produced on-stage experience at the Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center.
All proceeds from Yavapai Yuletide will benefit the Yavapai College Foundation, supporting student scholarships and academic success programs while strengthening the local workforce and contributing to the region’s economic vitality.
