A Flock of Seagulls, Bow Wow Wow featuring Annabella, and Animotion bring an unforgettable night of iconic hits to Prescott

Prescott, Arizona (July 16, 2026) – The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center is kicking off its 2026-2027 Presenting Season with I Love the '80s, a high-energy concert celebrating the music, style, and spirit of one of pop culture's most unforgettable decades. The performance takes place on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 7 p.m.

Featuring three legendary acts - A Flock of Seagulls, Bow Wow Wow featuring Annabella, and Animotion - this nostalgic concert brings together the chart-topping artists behind many of the songs that defined a generation. Audiences can expect an evening filled with unforgettable hits, electrifying performances, and the unmistakable energy that made the 1980s one of music's most celebrated eras.

A Flock of Seagulls helped shape the New Wave movement with their signature synth-driven sound and unmistakable style. The band rose to international fame with hits including "I Ran (So Far Away)," "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)," and "The More You Live, The More You Love." More than four decades later, founder Mike Score continues to perform and create new music, carrying on the band's enduring legacy.

Joining the tour is Bow Wow Wow featuring original lead vocalist Annabella Lwin, whose distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence helped launch the band to international success. Their infectious hits, including "I Want Candy," "Do You Wanna Hold Me," and "Go Wild in the Country," remain fan favorites and continue to capture the fun and rebellious spirit of the decade.

Completing the lineup is Animotion, whose synth-pop classics "Obsession" and "Let Him Go" became staples of 1980s radio and MTV.
