Yavapai College has named Mary Talosi as the Executive Director of the Yavapai College Foundation. The appointment was announced today at the Yavapai College Foundation Board Meeting.

Over the past six months, Talosi has served as the Interim Executive Director of the YC Foundation. In that time, she has made significant strides in moving the organization forward, including implementing a comprehensive plan to increase funds to support Yavapai College students and college initiatives.

"With the unanimous support of the Foundation's Executive Committee, the decision to support Mary Talosi as Executive Director was easy. Her leadership and commitment to the College and the community are immeasurable," said Dr. Lisa Rhine, President of Yavapai College.

"Mary is the right person at the right time to lead our Foundation. I look forward to continuing our strong, collaborative working relationship as we strive to further our cause of supporting the College and its students," said Valerie Wood, President of the Yavapai College Foundation Board.

Talosi joined the Yavapai College Foundation in 2016. Previously, she worked at Prescott College in Human Resources. She spent almost a decade as the operations director for Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, leading a high-paced office of more than 40 volunteers, managing marketing, budgeting, human resources, special events, and customer service activities. In addition, Talosi spent 18 years in the healthcare industry as a marketing and sales leader. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and holds numerous professional certifications.
