Last year, in an effort to break the pandemic isolation, Yavapai College Performing Arts brought five great acts out onto the cool grass of Prescott Valley and established a summer tradition. This year, YCPAC offers an encore of its Concerts on the Green series, with six great musical events, beginning Sunday June 5, at Prescott Valley’s Civic Center Amphitheater.

This summer, Concerts on the Green charges out of the blocks Sunday night, June 5 at 7 p.m., with FINNEGAN BLUE. Led by siblings Anna Lee and Willie Fleming, this hot-wired, high-energy combo combines a fiery set list of original Irish and Bluegrass songs with a repertoire of hits from The Pogues, the Grateful Dead, Flogging Molly, Sublime, and Amy Winehouse and more.

Concerts on the Green is back the following week with a toe-tapping homage to a legendary Country duo. NEON CIRCUS: A BROOKS & DUNN TRIBUTE celebrates the 20-year, 30-million album legacy of two of Nashville’s most beloved performers. Join us June 12, under the stars, for an evening that features all of B&D’s Number One hits: “My Maria,” “Neon Moon,” “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone” – and more!

Then get ready for a treat as Concerts on the Green welcomes Legendary Latin vocalist CARO PIEROTTO to the stage, June 19! Winner of the 2020 Prêmio Profissionais da Música “Best MPB Video Award,” the Los Angeles-based vocalist and her all-star Brazilian band channel a wide range of musical influences – from Sade to Amy Winehouse to Bebel Gilberto – as they perform original songs and classics in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
