Yavapai College exists so communities within Yavapai County are equipped with the vision and skills to create a sustainable economic environment. The College will fulfill this role at a justifiable cost. The following Ends, or goals, are listed in priority order:

Supai Hall opens for students.
1975
Ground breaking ceremonies for the Verde Valley Campus is attended by 150 people.
The Baseball Team wins its first National Championship.
Student registration fees start at $25 for up to six credit hours.
1977 1978
The charter class graduates 60.
Yavapai College Board holds first meeting
on the Yavapai College Verde Valley Campus.
The Women’s Basketball Team wins the state title and brings home the first trophy in the Athletic Department’s history.
The Gunsmithing Program begins.
It is the only such program in Arizona.
