Phi Theta Kappa (ΦΘΚ) at Yavapai College is our branch of
the National Honors Society for two-year colleges.
Our chapter, Beta Gamma Pi (ΒΓΠ), aligns with
the national organization's mission to recognize
academic achievement of college students and
to provide opportunities for them to grow
as scholars and leaders.
Yavapai College PTK Transfer Scholarship
This scholarship honors the accomplishments of Phi Theta Kappa members who are transferring to one of Yavapai College’s three or four-year bachelor’s degree programs.
The scholarship provides $1000.00 per year, renewable for up to two years, and can be combined with other merit-based and need-based financial aid. All bachelor's degree programs at Yavapai College are offered online and delivered in an 8-week format.

Eligibility Guidelines
- Completed at least 12 or more Yavapai College credits of 100-level or higher courses
- Have a 3.5 grade point average
- Enrolled in at least six credit units
Invitation to Join
- Invitation to all eligble students will be sent after the third week of the fall and spring semesters
- Invitations must be accepted before the end of the semester in which they are sent
- One-time $95 lifetime membership fee is required to join. Scholarships are available to help cover this cost if needed.
