The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act helps eligible participants develop skills, prepare for employment, and connect with local employers.

What is WIOA?

WIOA is a federally funded program designed to help adults, youth, and dislocated workers receive the training and support they need to succeed in today’s job market.

Who Can Benefit?

  • Adults age 18 and older looking for new job skills
  • Youth ages 16–24 who need education and career services
  • Dislocated workers who were recently laid off or are facing job loss
  • Individuals facing barriers to employment, including low income, disability, or lack of a high school diploma
