Yavapai College elevates workforce services countywide, with its Prescott campus now fully operating as a Comprehensive One-Stop Center, providing access to all four WIOA titles, with additional workforce and adult education locations in Prescott Valley and Cottonwood.
These centers will provide free services, including those offered by the Department of Economic Security, to all Yavapai County residents and employers, such as job search assistance, career counseling, job training, and other workforce development resources.
Yavapai College serves as the official One-Stop Operator and Title I-B service provider under the ARIZONA@WORK statewide system, operating the Prescott Comprehensive One-Stop Center, further cementing Yavapai College’s and Yavapai County’s leadership in connecting education, employment, workforce development, and economic growth across the region.
“Yavapai College and Yavapai County are committed to working collaboratively to strengthen education, employment, workforce development, and economic growth,” said Dr. Lisa Rhine, President of Yavapai College. “Through this vital partnership, Yavapai College and Yavapai County are helping build a stronger, more dynamic workforce for local employers to improve the long-term economic development of our region.”
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Yavapai County Workforce Development Board’s May 2025 designation of Yavapai College as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I-B Program Provider and One-Stop Operator.
“Together with Yavapai College, the County is leading the way for working families to be
able to provide the essential services and workforce needed in the county,” said Yavapai County Supervisor Chris Kuknyo. “I encourage everyone who is seeking employment or expanding their businesses in Yavapai County to utilize these innovative One-Stop centers.”
The Yavapai County One-Stop system operates under a dual framework of oversight:
