Yavapai College (YC) owns and manages a limited amount of workforce housing units in Yavapai County to provide convenient, safe, and attainable housing to full time college employees. This includes houses, tiny homes, RV pads, and a few RVs.
Generally, freshmen and sophomores live in residence halls staffed by college employees who support and guide the college experience.
Traditional age students, living on the Prescott campus in the residence halls, are 17 years old (and not in high school for Fall semester) to 23 years old.
Non-traditional students appreciate the independent-living experience afforded by apartments and RVs, while houses are reserved for YC employees.
YC also has a limited number of opportunities for students who wish to bring their family or pet. This option is primarily available to students bringing their own RV and intending to rent a College RV pad; however, there are a few tiny houses and RVs available for rent as well.
