Prescott, Arizona – Get ready for a night of sharp, high-energy comedy when Jay Pharoah, acclaimed comedian, actor and master impressionist, takes the stage at the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m.
Best known for his six memorable seasons as a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Pharoah has earned widespread recognition for his spot-on impressions and remarkable ability to capture some of the biggest personalities in entertainment and pop culture.
On stage, Pharoah blends stand-up, pitch-perfect impressions, current pop culture and razor-sharp observations into a fast-paced performance driven by wit and cultural insight. His versatility, comedic timing and ability to transform into familiar personalities have made him a standout performer across live comedy, television, and film.
Pharoah can currently be seen hosting Season 2 of FOX’s hit game show The Quiz With Balls. The show combines a high-stakes quiz competition with a large-scale physical challenge as two families compete for a $100,000 prize. Its first season debuted in summer 2024 and became FOX’s most-watched summer debut in two years.
Pharoah also released his sophomore comedy special, JARED, on YouTube in 2024, reaching more than 1.5 million viewers. In the hour-long special, he takes on pop culture, his suburban upbringing and personal experiences while sharing his perspective on self-discovery and resilience.
About Jay Pharoah
An accomplished actor in addition to his work as a stand-up comedian and impressionist, Pharoah has built an extensive career across television and film.
His recent film credits include the acclaimed horror-comedy The Blackening, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival before its theatrical release by Lionsgate, as well as Spinning Gold, Running on Empty, Resort to Love, Private Property, All My Life, Bad Hair and 2 Minutes of Fame.
On television, Pharoah starred as J.J. Evans in ABC’s Emmy Award-winning Live in Front of a Studio Audience presentation of All in the Family and Good Times. He previously starred as Floyd Mooney in Showtime’s White Famous and hosted and produced Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered.
His additional film, television and voice credits include The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Sing, Family Guy, The Simpsons, BoJack Horseman and Robot Chicken.
From his memorable years on Saturday Night Live to his current television, film and stand-up work, Pharoah continues to showcase the range that has made him one of comedy’s most dynamic and versatile performers.
