Eligible Arizona residents age 65 or older may receive a 50% tuition discount on qualifying courses.

  • Courses ending in 198, 295, 296, 298, and 299 use the Standard Tuition Rate, excluding GST.
  • Some REC courses may have additional fees based on trip location and cost.
  • ART 105, 200, 201, 202, and 203 use the Standard Tuition Rate.
  • MUS 100, 240, and 245 use the Standard Tuition Rate.
  • Selected MUS courses carry separate course fees.
  • Selected PHE courses and CNT 102 and 103 use the Standard Tuition Rate.

Western Undergraduate Exchange

WUE Tuition

Eligible students from participating western states may qualify for reduced out-of-state tuition through the Western Undergraduate Exchange.

WUE eligibility is not automatic. Students must meet residency and program requirements. Market tuition programs are not WUE eligible.

Commuter Meal Plans

Commuter meal plans are available to students who do not live in a residence hall and to Yavapai College employees.

2 Meals per Week

$309 per semester

Approximately $9.09 per complete meal.

5 Meals per Week

$747 per semester

Approximately $8.79 per complete meal.

A complete meal includes soup, salad, entrée, sides, fountain drink, and dessert. Breakfast selections may vary.

Plans operate on a weekly declining balance. Unused meals do not roll over. Meals are counted Friday through Thursday, are not transferable, and may be used only for food prepared on site.

During 2023–2024, meal plans were valid at the Rider Diner on the Prescott Campus.

Cost of Attendance is a financial-aid planning estimate. It is not the amount Yavapai College will bill you.

What the estimate includes: tuition and fees, books and supplies, housing and food, personal expenses, and transportation.

Actual costs vary based on enrollment, course selection, housing, transportation, and personal expenses.
