Tuition and Student Accounts
Spread eligible tuition and college charges across scheduled payments. Review the enrollment period, required initial payment and due dates before selecting a plan.
Standard and veteran payment plans have different requirements. Choose the correct term and plan type before enrolling.
Payment dates are fixed and cannot be changed. Automatic payment setup is required immediately after establishing a standard payment plan.
This plan divides the remaining eligible balance into five scheduled payments.
A $25 refundable down payment is required when the plan is established.

Enrollment between May 15 and June 10 requires the $25 down payment plus the first installment, equal to 25% of the remaining balance.
The $25 refundable down payment is applied toward the balance if a student does not attend or drops classes after the posted deadline. The student remains responsible for unpaid tuition. Review applicable deadlines on the Academic Calendar .

Veteran payment plans do not require a down payment or setup fee.
Students who do not attend or who drop after the posted deadline remain responsible for unpaid tuition. Students are also responsible for bookstore charges added to the payment plan by the plan due date. Review deadlines on the Academic Calendar .
Fall students may select from three voluntary payment schedules. Students with an unpaid balance after September 9 may be placed in an administrative payment plan.
Fall plans require a $25 non-refundable payment at setup. The source material also refers to this amount as an administrative fee.

Students enrolling after an installment has already become due must pay the past-due installment or installments in addition to the $25 payment.
Yavapai College may administratively enroll students in a payment plan after the add/drop period and assess a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.

Students enrolling after a scheduled installment date were required to pay prior installments in addition to the $25 down payment. The refundable payment was applied to the remaining balance when a student did not attend or dropped after the posted deadline.
Both the Veterans Payment Plan and Veteran Chapter 33 Payment Plan required no down payment or setup fee. The total balance was due April 7, 2026.
