Students learn to install, support, secure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and servers. In addition, students learn how to configure virtual private networks, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. This program helps prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certifications and provides a strong knowledge base to pursue advanced cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
