Earn While You Learn this Semester!

Gain quality field experience in a 5 star child care program while earning an Early Childhood Basic Certificate and a paycheck.

The YC Early Childhood Department has partnered with the Family Enrichment Center (FEC) on the Prescott Campus to offer an Earn While You Learn program this summer.

Scholarships are available to cover tuition and book costs.

Limited to 12 students, applications reviewed as received.

The Earn While You Learn program will result in:

  1. Up to 12 tuition-free Early Childhood college credits
  2. Paid practicum experience

To be eligible for the Earn While You Learn program, you must

  1. Be available on the Prescott Campus a minimum of 5 hours per week, between 8:30am-5:30pm M-F
  2. Be enrolled at Yavapai College
  3. Be 16 years of age or older
  4. Have a fingerprint clearance card and background check
  5. Have a current (<2 years) negative TB test
