80-90% of children on the road have been found to be unsafe in vehicles for many different reasons (e.g. seat not correctly installed to the vehicle, child not correctly secured in seat, seat is expired, and/or not appropriate for child’s height/weight, etc.). The Family Resource Center has national certified child passenger safety technicians (certified via Safe Kids) who can complete safety checks on existing infant, convertible and booster car seats. 80-90% of children on the road have been found to be unsafe in vehicles for many different reasons (e.g. seat not correctly installed to the vehicle, child not correctly secured in seat, seat is expired, and/or not appropriate for child’s height/weight, etc.). The Family Resource Center has national certified child passenger safety technicians (certified via Safe Kids) who can complete safety checks on existing infant, convertible and booster car seats. New seats can be also provided as needed.
