Trade, health science programs on display

Clarkdale, Arizona (October 3, 2025) – The ‘typical college student’ does not exist anymore. College students are young and old; jobseekers and jobholders; the curious, the ambitious and those seeking a fresh start. What they share is a desire to learn. Yavapai College invites working adults, parents, high school students and anyone interested in developing their future to its Camp Verde Open House, Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Camp Verde Community Library, 130 Black Bridge Road, in Camp Verde.

Yavapai College open houses offer a great, no-pressure way to test-drive the College’s one hundred-plus degree and certificate programs and find one that matches your ambitions. The Camp Verde Open House promises to be an informative afternoon. Instructors and experts will feature the College’s trade and health sciences classes – centered at the Verde Valley campus – and answer any questions.

The Camp Verde Open House will be held in the Terracotta Room of the Camp Verde Community Library. The event is free of charge. Community members are urged to join us for food and raffle drawings. Prizes include a free three-credit class, a Chromebook, airpods and more.
