We are currently seeking a COHORT of students for the Spring 2022 to enter into our Cybersecurity Internship Program. If eligible, you could receive free tuition, free books, an internship and the ability to enter the workforce in CNT/Cybersecurity by Summer 2022. Classes start January 19 th - May 10 2022. Evening and online available.


What?

Take the first step to a career in the exciting field of Cybersecurity at Yavapai College!

Qualified applicants can earn a Cybersecurity Technician Certificate in a single semester. All tuition and books are paid for as students learn to build and manage a computer network while keeping the bad guys out. Successful students are also prepared to take two industry certification exams: CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+. Both certifications are recognized worldwide by employers and IT professionals as essential knowledge for the workplace.

When you complete your studies, an internship awaits so you can immediately put your new knowledge and skills to the test.

The program consists of four courses that can be taken online and in the evening, (two of the courses are in-person classes offered during weeknights). Each course is 8 weeks in length and students complete all four in 16 weeks.


Who?

Anyone interested in taking the first step to a career in Cybersecurity and those that are already working professionals that wish to boost their skills and their career prospects. New, current, and former Yavapai College students are all welcome to apply.


When?

Starting January, Spring Semester 2022.


How to Apply?

1. Fill out the intent to apply form. Our Cybersecurity Cohort director will be in touch with you with more information and to answer questions.

2. Enroll at YC. Even if you are not awarded a scholarship for this program, you can earn the certificate and certifications in a single semester and land an internship.

Note: Scholarship awards are dependent on available funding.
