What?

Take the first step to a career in the exciting field of Cybersecurity at Yavapai College!

Qualified applicants can earn a Cybersecurity Technician Certificate in a single semester. All tuition and books are paid for as students learn to build and manage a computer network while keeping the bad guys out. Successful students are also prepared to take two industry certification exams: CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+. Both certifications are recognized worldwide by employers and IT professionals as essential knowledge for the workplace.

When you complete your studies, an internship awaits so you can immediately put your new knowledge and skills to the test.

The program consists of four courses that can be taken online and in the evening, (two of the courses are in-person classes offered during weeknights). Each course is 8 weeks in length and students complete all four in 16 weeks.
