The ACCUPLACER is used for course placement, not admission to the college.

Timing

Math and Reading are untimed. WritePlacer is timed.

Fees

There is no fee for YC students. The fee for non-YC students is $50.

Bring with you

Bring a valid photo ID. YC students should also bring their Y-number.

Yavapai College administers Next-Generation ACCUPLACER tests in Reading, WritePlacer, Quantitative Reasoning / Algebra / Statistics, and Advanced Algebra / Functions.

Pre-pay $10 retest fee

Alternate scores, advising, and accommodations

If you have previously taken the ACCUPLACER, SAT, or ACT, all or part of those scores may be usable for placement. Math and Writing scores must be two years old or less.
