Yavapai College offers selected industry, licensure, and proctored testing services for community members and non-YC students.

Students enrolled at other colleges or universities should first follow their home institution’s proctoring process. The home school must contact YC with testing details and both institutions must agree on the exam parameters. Make your appointment at least one week before the deadline.

No proctoring services are available during Yavapai College finals week.

CLEP

Prescott

Register and pay the CLEP exam fee through the CLEP My Account portal first. After you receive your registration ticket, schedule your test at YC. A separate $25 proctor fee applies at Yavapai College.

ASE

Prescott

Automotive Service Excellence certification testing is administered at YC. Candidates register and pay directly through ASE.

Prescott Verde Valley

Yavapai College serves as a test site for Metro Institute’s Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission certification testing. Candidates contact Metro directly to schedule and pay fees.

YC is a certified provider of PAN assessments used for entry-level employment, promotion eligibility, and employment verification. Most candidates schedule through their employer.

Pearson VUE

YC is a certified Pearson VUE testing site. Candidates can review test-taker information and registration options directly with Pearson VUE.

GED

Prescott Verde Valley

You may be eligible for GED testing if you are age 16 or older, are not currently enrolled in an accredited high school, and have not already graduated or earned a high school equivalency credential.

Additional requirements for ages 16–17:

  • Create a GED test-taker profile under your full legal name.
  • Provide a notarized and dated permission letter from a parent or guardian.
  • Present the form with photo ID to the Testing Center at Prescott or Verde Valley.
