2026–2027 Concurrent Enrollment Tuition Discount
Eligible high school students taking college classes directly through Yavapai College may receive a 50% tuition discount on qualifying courses.

About the program
Earn college credit while still in high school
Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to register for Yavapai College courses and begin earning college credit before high school graduation.

Review available college-credit courses and select classes that support your academic or career goals.

Register for courses
Complete the Yavapai College registration process for your selected courses.
Step 3
Allow time for processing
Eligible students should allow 24 to 48 hours for the tuition discount to appear on their student account.

Eligibility
Students must meet both requirements
Eligibility is based on citizenship and Arizona residency status for tuition purposes. Program and course exclusions also apply.
U.S. citizenship
The student must be a United States citizen.
Arizona residency
The student must qualify for in-state residency for tuition purposes.
Discount calculation
Eligible students receive 50% off tuition
The tuition discount applies to qualifying courses taken by eligible students attending the following types of high schools or educational programs:
- Traditional public high schools
- Public charter schools
- Fully online high schools
- Home schools
What the discount covers
Qualifying Yavapai College tuition
Eligible students receive a 50% discount on tuition for qualifying YC courses. Aviation courses and excluded programs are not covered.

Important exclusions
Students and courses not covered
Review these exclusions before estimating tuition or registering for classes.
Aerospace Science program
Students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science in Aerospace Science, Airplane Operations program are not eligible for the concurrent enrollment tuition discount for any classes.
Aviation courses
The discount does not apply to Aviation courses, including Aviation courses taken by students who are not enrolled in an Aviation major.
Non-citizen students
Students who are not United States citizens are not eligible for the concurrent enrollment tuition discount.
