  • Please email us with questions: Student Support Services

The workshops are open to all students on campus, unless otherwise noted.

For upcoming workshops, please look for flyers around the Learning Centers.
  Cultural Events and Activities

Every semester SSS-TRiO holds events that give students a chance to unwind from their busy schedule and a chance to get to know each other. Cultural events give balance to your academic work and encourage you to network with other SSS participants. Activities, held both on campus and off-campus, give awareness of the rich culture of Arizona and the cultures of the world.

  Learn about University Life!

The Student Support Services Program sponsors field trips to the three state university campuses. The trips are a chance to gather valuable information about that campus, to mark your own impressions about the campus, and to judge for yourself if you want to transfer to that campus.

Trips are usually on Fridays or Saturdays and include transportation and lunch.

Experience college life!

There's no better to way to experience the academic environment, culture and social atmosphere of four-year universities and colleges in Arizona than to visit them in person. The campus visits are an opportunity for students to visit a school are interested in attending.

Every year, the SSS TRiO program arranges trips to the three Arizona State Universities: Arizona State University campuses, Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, and the University of Arizona in Tucson.

SSS academic advisors advise students on transferring to a university. They also assist students with admissions and financial aid applications for the university admissions process, as well as coordinating with university counselors on student advisement/academic planning.
